Shipping and Deliveries
What is the shipping method?
The shipping companies available at Loja do Inseto are: BATCH/CTT, NACEX, DPD and MRW.
BATCH/CTT and NACEX are the carriers that deliver directly to your address in Portugal.
DPD delivers to a collection point near your home. (The collection point is selected by the customer when they are finalizing their purchase).
MRW delivers to Spain.
What are the shipping options and delivery times?
Delivery and shipping times depend on the payment method and the delivery location of the products.
After payment confirmation, Loja do Inseto commits to delivering to mainland Portugal on the next business day . For the Madeira archipelago, the delivery time is 48/72 hours, and for the Azores archipelago, it is 72/96 hours. Except in cases of stock shortage.
For payment methods such as MBway, Multibanco, Paypal and PayShop, the shipping day corresponds to the day the Loja do Inseto account is credited (business days and for payments made until 3:00 PM).
For payment by bank transfer, the dispatch date corresponds to the day the Insect Store's account is credited.
In the event of a stock shortage, you will be contacted by customer service to be informed of the estimated delivery date.
The Insect Shop guarantees that all customer data is confidential, used solely and exclusively by the company, and is not passed on or sold to third parties. After the data is used to ship the order, it will be automatically removed from our database and destroyed. If you wish to make another purchase, you will have to provide your data again.
How does the process work if the customer is not available to receive the order?
If the customer is absent at the time of delivery, an SMS will be sent to the phone number associated with the purchase, requesting a rescheduling for a more convenient pickup date. The SMS is sent by the carrier, and rescheduling is done via a link in the SMS, which redirects to the portal.
What is the shipping cost?
Free shipping is offered to mainland Portugal on all orders of €100 or more. Any free shipping promotion is only valid for mainland Portugal.
Shipping costs are offered to Spain on all orders of €200 or more.
For purchases of lower values, a flat shipping fee of €4.99 applies, via BATCH/CTT, NACEX and MRW.
For purchases of smaller amounts, a single shipping fee of R$ 3.99 applies, through DPD.
General Notes:
- The Insect Shop is not responsible for any delays caused by the shipping company. However, if you exceed the above deadline, please contact us so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
- Delivery time is calculated from the moment the order is shipped from our warehouse.
- Orders are shipped and delivered on business days, that is, between Monday and Friday, provided it is not a national holiday.
- During peak periods, some delivery services may be temporarily unavailable, and delivery dates may be affected in exceptional situations due to internal logistical or operational reasons of the carriers, or during special periods such as Black Friday and Christmas when there is a higher volume of orders.
